Information:

The risk of nuclear war remains unbearably high. We need Congress to get us on a safer path, one toward a world without nuclear weapons.

House Resolution 77 is a crucial step towards ensuring the safety and security of the United States and the world. This resolution affirms the US commitment to arms control, nonproliferation, and disarmament agreements, and recognizes the risks and catastrophic consequences of nuclear war. Additionally, it calls on the US president to declare that the country will not use nuclear weapons first by adopting a no-first-use policy, and to change the current policy that the US president has the sole authority to order a nuclear strike.

Make a difference in preventing nuclear war by urging your member of Congress to cosponsor H. Res. 77. By supporting this resolution, legislators can build support for these positive steps to reduce the risk of nuclear war and promote global peace and security.
