Information:

Wrap up the Spring work party season with NSEA as we tend to this freshly planted site along Macaulay Creek! Plus, celebrate World Fish Migration Day by planting trees and shrubs for salmon.

Parking for this event is at the Mount Baker Senior High School at 4936 Deming Rd, Deming, WA 98244.

Once you park, head to the sign-in station to get checked in and then staff will direct you to the shuttle bus that will take you to the site. Most of time, we can get you on the shuttle and to the site within 10 minutes, but sometimes you may be asked to wait if the shuttle is already dropping off another group. Thanks for your patience!

NSEA provides everything you need to participate, but here are some other things to keep in mind:

  • Any necessary tools, instructions, and gardening gloves are provided (XS-XL sizes available).

  • Most sites are wet even if it is not raining so bringing water-resistant/proof layers will keep you more comfortable.

  • Closed-toed shoes are required, and we recommend ones that can get dirty (because they will!)

  • A portable toilet will be available at sites that do not have public restrooms.

  • We strive to provide coffee, water, and light snacks at each event, but if you have additional dietary needs, please bring those with you.

  • A reusable coffee cup and water bottle are highly recommended to keep these events as waste free as possible!

If you have questions about this event or others, please contact Sarah at sbrown@n-sea.org or call 360-715-0283.
